Bringing Back Da Books

Memphis Allies supported at least 500 families in the Orange Mound community by distributing backpacks filled with school supplies, offering free haircuts and providing resources to promote literacy.

Whitehaven Gun Violence Awareness Day

On Gun Violence Awareness Day, Memphis Allies and LeBonheur Children’s Hospital teamed up with the Whitehaven community to raise awareness about gun violence and to honor lost lives.

MAMA’s Day

Memphis Allies hosted its annual MAMA’s Day Luncheon to honor mothers and families who have lost a loved one to gun violence. The event provided a safe space for remembrance, reflection and healing, and included a balloon release in memory of the lives lost.

Breakthrough Conference
2024

Memphis Allies hosted its second annual Breakthrough Conference.

More than 400 attendees spent two days collaborating to explore innovative solutions and strategies to promote community violence intervention and gun violence prevention across Memphis and the Mid-South areas.
